One of the best sites to find out about everything in Houston including restaurants, movies, maps and Sunday drives. (I've had good experiences with the Expedia travel agent too !)

Houston Chronicle
If you want to know what the newspaper brings. Nice site and a lot of (local) information.

Texas Highways
Find things to do and places to go. It's actually a magazine with lots of nice pictures but the website gives information about where things happen and how to get there or at least who to call how to get there !

Traveltex
My favorite. A great site to find a lot of attractions and events and don't forget the free screensavers or the CD-ROM and travelguide you can order. We have the CD-ROM and guide ourselves and it's a great help for all your texas-travel planning.
