I left this morning for camp Ailiphomeh, I saw my friends Kyle and Scott there as well. I was really looking forward to going and mommy hopes that I will remember everything she told me (brush your teeth, be careful, be nice, ask for help), as if I can remember that all. I'm doing a second session of swimming at Redd School which is great. On Fridays we have Freaky Fridays with a waterslide and a movie and the awards are being handed out for good spirit and behavior. Yesterday we went to the racepark with Sasha. We thought we were going to see Wiener dog races, but we were too late for that, so we just saw the horses.

Well, the house is empty again, my grandparents left to go home. They picked me up from school every day last week and that was fun. I only have 2 weeks left in school; then I will have swimming for a few weeks at the Redd school. My friend Holly from MCDC will also join me. I'm really excited about going to hemophilia camp for the first time this year in July. I will spend a week away from home with other boys. It;s going to be fun. On June 4 we are doing a golf tournament for the NHF and I am going to try and play as well.

It was a good thing opa and oma are here now because daddy was off for vacation and mommy had to work a lot this week. So opa and oma picked me up from school. But I don't like it if they come too early, I need to play ! There was tests at school this week. Not the official test, but the Stanford one. It was ok, I didn't get too excited about it. Spending lots of time playing with Sasha, Alec and Yannick. The neighborhood knows when we're out, lots of screaming !

And now I'm 7 ! That did not prevent me from getting into trouble at school again, but hey, I had a great birthday with lots of presents and a wonderful party. Mommy even made me a StarWars cake ! I got a new bike and that works a lot better. I can now keep up with my friends in the neighborhood. Opa and Oma are here and that is just wonderful. Opa reads with me at night and I don't have to go grocery shopping with mom all the time because they will be there to look after me, what a perfect arrangement.

Back to school, got another report card and I'm pretty good. I just get in trouble for talking all the time. But my reading and math is great and I'm learning about science too. We had a lot of parties, one was at a bowling alley and I really liked that. I want Lego Star Wars for my birthday so when we went to the opening of the new Lego Store in Houston I got something already. The problem is that all my other things are disassembled, so now we are in "putting the Lego back together again" mode and daddy is having a good time !

I got to spend past week with my "old" friends from MCDC because it was spring break and I got to go to yannick's school. It was fun to see them, we went to the movies, had a picknick and went to Cici's pizza (where my mom would never take me). I finally got back to karate after my bleed and did really well. We went swimming today again; I will be having swimming lessons during the summer so I need to get used to it again. We also played with our friends from the neighborhood.

It's about time the weather got better, we love to play outside, but it has been snowing and even though it was fun to catch the flakes with my tongue I prefer today's weather with sun. I had my springshow this week, mommy, daddy and Yannick came to watch me and I got flowers. We worked really hard on our song and dance and the teachers were very proud of us. Yesterday we were at Jones hall again to hear the symphony. I found daddy's old phone so now I use that to (pretend) talk to all my friends and send text messages, some people think it's real !

It's Valentine's day, so me and Yannick and daddy did a lot of work. I drew and coloured hearts and we cooked a special breakfast. Now I'm playing with Sasha outside, it's great weather ! We also had a party at school and I got lots of cards and chocolates. Too bad I still do not like chocolate. I saw the opening of the Olympics on Friday, it was really late, but I stayed up almost until the end.

Yesterday I kicked a board in half at karate and I got another belt !! I did all my homework and got another 109 % on my spelling. We;re working on puzzles, I'm now doing a 200 piece one, but it's not as easy as it looks. You need a lot of patience and I need to use my brain like mommy says. Playing with my Lego Star Wars is a lot easier.

Back at school we get more and more homework; I have spelling on Monday and Thursday, reading every day and now math as well. Luckily I'm pretty good at it all. It showed in my report card which was excellent, even my behavior ! I now have 3 bands for Karate, so that is progressing too. The Star Wars movies have all been watched now, so now we just play with our lightsabers all the time. I finished book number 2 for piano as well. Mommy sometimes is very surprised about all the subjects I learn at school; we did the raincycle and talked about planets and space already.

Back to school, even though I was still off on Monday. All my friends are back and I scored 109 % again on my spelling test. I also went back to karate and to piano lessons. Yesterday we saw some people making awesome things with ice. I especially liked the motorcycle. I lost my glove too (mommy was not too happy), but found it again. I'm just not used to having those things. We've seen all 3 "old" Star Wars movies now and today we bought the other 3, I'm set for this week !

I love vacation, although I keep correcting daddy in saying that it's not really vacation unless you go somewhere ! We celebrated christmas at home; there were a lot of presents and it took quite some time to unpack everything. I got a real camera and I have already made some pictures. I hope mommy will put them up. I got to play with Sasha a lot and we went to the movies and saw Alvin and the chipmunks. For new years we had lots of kids and we did fireworks and I stayed up till 1 am ! I was up at 7 again the next morning, I think that didn't go over too well. Mom and dad finally bought the Star Wars movies, so I saw the first one today, it is so great !

I've started a new sport; karate ! I really like it, even though it's pretty hard. I need to run, bearcrawl, sit up, and do all kinds of combinations with kicks and jabs. Mommy thinks it's good for my coordination and my waistline. We are having some busy weeks, lots of birthday parties and ofcourse fun at school. I could even wear my pj's at school on Thursday and we got hot chocolate and watched a movie. Today we had lot of kids visiting for the cheer, that was great !. Now I'm off for 2 weeks; but I'm going to care for 3 days and then I'm home.

Another week full of events ! Ofcourse there was the snow on Friday, I told mommy I really didn't like it, because what use is snow if you cannot play in it ? So it's time for skiing or something. Yesterday I had my first karate lesson, that was cool, but very exhausting. I had to run and do pushups and all kinds of kicks. So that meant I was very tired during the concert we attended later on. Then we went to see Sinterklaas. I really like him and sang a song for him and he gave me candy. Then at night he came by again and gave me presents !! Today I had a party of 2 classmates and then we went for Yannick's party. Grandma sent me a pianobook with christmas songs and I'm practicing Jingle Bells for the xmas cheer at our house.

No school this week, so I spent 2 days in extended care at Redd school and one day at my old school in Jr. Staff, that was the best, because I saw some old classmates there. On Thursday we visited Amelia, Amanda and Kyle and I played a lot of videogames. We had turkey and some good green beans with bacon. I also liked the pumpkin and apple pie. On Friday we went to the zoo with Sasha and her little sister Nika. It was very busy but we saw a lot of animals. Yesterday we went to the Renaissance Festival and saw my favorite band; Tartanic ! I even have a picture with them and 2 cd's with their signatures. Too bad it rained, so we didn't see a lot, but I did do the bungee jumping again (last time it was with Hanneke) and I bought a new sword. Today we played with Alec and Michael our neighbor kids, I'm in pj's already (it's 5 pm) because we played in the sprinkler and were dripping wet when we got home...

If I don't find trouble, then trouble finds me, I don't know how that works, must be the genes. I am really good at spelling, always score 100% and more at my tests on Fridays. The bad thing is that now they cannot keep anything a secret from me anymore since I read everything. I got 2 pairs of new shoes yesterday. One that I need to keep when mommy wants me to wear shoes without any peeled off leather and big scratches, the other ones are good sturdy winter boots, even though it doesn't get that cold here. Today I'm at Laura's party, we are making pottery.

I did not get in trouble at school this week ! No time-outs, no punishments, so that is good. I've been doing well at math and spelling and am reading my 3rd chapter book. I also read Dutch chapter books at home. That goes pretty well; except that I sometimes forget Dutch does not have a silent "e". I had a fun party yesterday for Brooke. She did not know I was invited so I had to keep that a secret. I was the only boy in the party (except for her 2 year old brother) but I still had a good time.

I love the NHF conference; I get to go to the kid's program and this time they bumped me up so I could be with my friend Kyle. We went to 2 museums, did a boattour (with some weird pirates) and had a party. Yesterday I went to Savannah's party; with a limo ride (they even had tv in the car) and then games at Itz. I am only reading chapter books now, magic tree and Canadian flyer. I also read some Dutch chapter books.

I always love it when we have visitors; this week Henri and Ellen and Hanneke were here and it was great. I got my first report card. Reading and writing and math and science is all good, but there were some comments about my behavior. I just get too wrapped up in my own thoughts and then forget to listen to my teachers or parents...I know, my brain sometimes is not listening. We had fall festival on Saturday at school; I saw a lot of friends there and we played games and got tattoos and food. Today we went to the park; I didn't really want to, but in the end it was ok.

My 4th tooth came out today ! I was playing with daddy and all at once it was out. It was bleeding which freaked me out, but it was better after some Amicar. I again got more than 100 % on my spelling test, mommy will have to find something better than the current agreement (5 times 100 % or over and I get Bakyugan cards) otherwise she will be very poor ! We went to the children's museum yesterday, they had Vietnamese people there that showed us how to make a lantern and I got to taste some jello which I didn't like at all.

Wow, what a weekend. I was at hemophilia family camp with daddy first; we went fishing and canoeing, I rode on a horse, pet a rat and an iguana and played basketball. We had a campfire and a movie while swimming. Then to top it all off, I went to Connor's party today at the gymnastics place where we did all kind of jumping. So I was pretty tired after that...I even took a nap before I went to the party, voluntarily !

Yesterday was the annual hemophilia walk. We had a team of 17 people and it was great. We raised a lot of money again thanks to everybody. In school I've been doing excellent especially in spelling. I regularly score more than 100 % on the test. Next week I start with a story telling club and cooking club after school hours. Mommy already thinks that I will take over cooking duties for the weekend. I am going to be a Star Wars person for Halloween. We will be in San Francisco so we will have to bring the costume.

Everybody went to the doctor this week.I got diagnosed with bronchitis so I had to have breathing treatments all week. That was okay, just funny with the "smoke" coming out of my mouth and I feel a lot better Saturday I had a party for 2 of my classmates (they;re twins, but don't look alike, I didn't get that). We could swim in the pool, had a water balloon fight and I made some money diving change from the bottom of the pool, pretty cool hu ? Today I went with Yannick and daddy to my most favorite store: the LEGO store. I got another Star Wars ship that I can build. We also went to Kemah, but the fountain did not work unfortunately.

I went to first grade this week and it was AWESOME !! We have bugs in the classroom (butterflies and caterpillars and walking sticks), we have PE and I know how to log into the computer system and we have a class with 10 boys ! Our teacher is Ms. McQuade and she is really nice. There are animals in the playground and a treehouse and we can play basketball. Every day I get a book to read and take that home and I have to bring it back the next day. Mommy has been making me bento boxes for lunch, I really like being in first grade.

Wow, we've had quite a few weeks. Lots of hotelstays and we also were on a boat, that was really cool. I went swimming and snorkeling with uncle Robert and played with grandma and grandpa. We also went sailing and hiking and we ate lots of bbq. There also was a slide on the boat that was awesome. This weekend I saw my factor friend Kyle again because we were in San Antonio for some hemophilia thing. We went to Seaworld and saw Shamu, but it was too busy for the rollercoasters so I only went in journey to Atlantis. Now I have to get ready for first grade on Wednesday. I had pizza at school last friday and will be there for another 1,5 day and then I'm going to the Redd School, I cannot wait !

I lost my third tooth, this one is on top. And ofcourse I got some money from the toothfairy. There is a big hole now, but something new is coming ! We had our meeting for the hemophilia walk. I am very excited, this year I want to raise a lot of money and it's going to be a lot of fun. Laura, Reese and Evan came to play and watch dvd's Friday. We put mattresses on the floor and Rachel joined us too. I'm very excited to go to Canada this weekend, we are going on a boat for a few days and see my grandparents, and ofcourse the dog !

I love long weekends at first, but then I start to complain because I cannot think of anything to do. Oh well, I started a puzzle, mommy and I put the playmobil castle up and I played with Alec.I also like swimming with my friend Harry whom I met at the pool. Usually mommy and daddy just see me showing up when it's adult swim, otherwise I play and go down the slides. Last night we went to the symphony, it was great, because they had cannons ! And the fireworks were pretty good too.

Sometimes it's really fun to have a brother, like when mom allowed us to sleep together in my bed. I read him a book and we did jokes, but we did fall asleep eventually. It is also cool if I can come to his parties, we went to the little gym and did all kinds of jumping and dancing. Daddy is back again, he got me the coolest Metallica shirt and something to dig a dinosaur out of. We went swimming yesterday (I now know how to turn at the wall) and today. I saw Harry again at the pool, we are friends and see eachother on Sunday. Just like me he is a deprived child; no Nintendo DS, but "only" a leapster !

Hey, daddy is in London again.You would almost think I'm of divorced parents ! I finally got to do splashday at school this week. Usually mom picks me up for piano lesson before that, but this week they were early. I also went to piano lesson with Lorelai today, that was great. It was just unfortunate that we could not have a playdate afterwards. We went swimming twice this week and I did really good at my lesson.

Wow, now Mommy left again, what is it with my parents ? It was only for a few days though and I'm always happy when wer'e all together again. I had swimming lesson yesterday, I'm working on breaststroke and breathing with crawl. But I prefer to just play and splash when we're in the big pool. Today I had to practice on my bike and now I can ride on 2 wheels !! I always get upset when something doesn't work right away, it takes some energy to keep trying, but it paid off.

Summer season at school started and we now have splashday every other Friday. It was so much fun, there were sprinklers and a waterslide and we were very wet and dirty. After that I went to piano lesson again and I'm done with my first book already ! Today I am playing Guitar Hero with daddy, I do guitar he does the drums, we're quite a good couple there.

This week was nice and short, no school on Monday because we were off for Memorial day and then we left for our roadtrip on Thursday, Austin and San Antonio. I saw a lot of guns and fighting and swords and stuff, but I really don't get why the Texans did not win everything ? And I got very confused with those guys that are called like cities: Houston, Austin....We also saw a group of people sitting together in a big room. Mommy said that is where they make laws for Texas, I just thought it was very boring !

Since mommy does this website but she left on vacation without us, she has no idea what we did during those 10 days, except for what daddy told her, ha, ha. Well, we went to the Lego store, where I got Star Wars Lego and we went to Kemah where we rode the caroussel and the ferriswheel and I got very wet in the fountains. This week I graduated from Kindergarten, now for real ( I did it last year too). We did a yoga play and I was a fish, my favorite yoga exercise. Then we had muffins and juice and then we went out to dinner, it was pretty good. No piano lesson this week, Ms Denise is away, so I could practice a little more. We have a party today at pump it up, so mommy is happy because it rains all the time and we need to burn some energy

I sometimes get very upset when somebody asks me to do something and I think it's unfair. It happened yesterday and mommy didn't like it. I stil got some more presents for my birthday like a scooter and new ministeck. I fell too and now my jaw is all black and blue. My parents didn't notice until today, so I got factor early. Piano lessons are going great, I play with both hands and I recognized one of the pieces i got now since it is on one of my cd's !

Since I got my Leapster we have a new system. I can earn 5 minutes per day if I listen, but this week that didn't quite work out and I only got 15 minutes on Sunday ! We went to the zoo and I saw my factor friend Scotty there. We also went to Ifest with Rachel and Barbara and that was fun, especially the loud band and the dancing girls ! today at school we were allowed to make hats and other stuff from paper so I made myself a crown and at home a chef's hat.

I'm six ! On Tuesday I finally got to have my real birthday. I didn't get all my presents because I did something naughty last week, but by now I have almost all of them. There were lot of great things; games, a scooter and a Leapster which use is restricted by mommy....Mommy came to school and took me out for lunch, I got to chose so we went to BK and then she told me we could do whatever I wanted so we went to the museum of Natural Science. We saw the bugs and the butterflies, the dinosaurs, rocks and shells, animals it was great. On Friday we had pizza at school. I went to piano lesson again and Ms. Denise is very proud of me. I now read both bass and treble clef and play with 2 hands while reading notes...mommy is impressed too. Today I got to play guitar hero with daddy, that is so awesome, but again, mommy is a killjoy because she keeps telling us we need to stop !

It was easter this weekend; we started by doing an egg hunt at school on Thursday. Unfortunately most of the eggs are filled with chocolate; still not too keen on that. Friday we were at home and made some easter decorations. Little Linda had sent us a whole box with supplies and I made an owl and other interesting eggs. I'm in trouble because I did something really naughty, including peeking into all my birthday presents so i won't have a real birthday on Tuesday and I'm grounded for a week. I told my friends too because ofcourse they came by and asked me to play, I hope that I can be good for a few days so I get my privileges back.

Did you know I'm almost 6 ? We had a party today to celebrate and I had lots of friends there. We did rock climbing and then had pizza and cake nd the best; presents !! There were some oldtime friends, friends from school, 2 neighborhoodkids and even Magnus and Anders that live in Norway ! This week I told mommy I wanted to go to school as engineer. So I dressed up in shirt and tie and a pen in my pocket. Kethry told me I looked very handsome ! Yesterday I had a party for Kyle, my factor friend. We played airhockey and pool and video games, that was cool. Daddy is back, so I'm happy and I can play Old McDonalds on the piano now.

After summer I have to go to a different school and mommy and daddy decided on the Redd School. Mommy told me about it, but I hadn't seen it yet, so on Friday we went there and I loved it so much I didn't want to leave ! They have a great playground, animals, horses, a garden, a computerroom and birds in the classroom. I'm really looking forward to start 1st grade there. This weekend was busy, we went to a science fair at the Redd school about astronomy, then to 2 birthday parties. One was at laser quest and me and dad did really good "shooting" other gamers. Mommy wasn't too impressed with the whole concept; party pooper !

Mommy is back, and right away she tells me all the time to speak Dutch. It's just easier for me to speak English, even to her or my dad. Yesterday we went to the rodeo, it was really good especially since Barbara and Rachel were there too. Rachel and I went to the carnival and played some games and did the Alladin ride. I won a bow and arrow and a hatchet that I really like ! The rodeo itself was nice too with the horses and bulls. I also liked the little kids riding the sheep. We got the invitations for my party this weekend and I wrote everybody's name on the envelope. Man, that is hard work. I also finally practiced piano since daddy forgot to remind me all last week !

I am progressing very well with reading Dutch, right now I am at level 3 and read about "ridder Wout". I read everything I see along the way or in magazines so I practice a lot. I'm also very interested in money. I want to buy something, but I don't have enough money yet according to my parents and I won't get allowance until I turn 6, which luckily is only another month or so. I had my first real piano lesson on Friday, it was really cool ! I learned to play with 3 fingers of each hand and how many beats the notes are and what a rest is. I have practiced every day, which mommy says is a requirement.

I have a lot of problems with listening and thinking about consequences. On Saturday I got the coolest gift from mommy; a tin with a new Bakyugan, but I lost it today because I was not listening....Becky at the barber's gave me blue hair yesterday; it looked very cool. I have the "cool" discussion a lot with mommy when I have to get dressed. Sometimes she tells me what to wear and usually I don't think that's cool (like brown pants, whoever thinks those are cool ?) and then I get mad. Little Linda sent us a superhero costume, Yannick and I put it on right away and "flew" through the house. Sasha came to play today, we were a little rough and she hurt herself, but I think we're still friends. Mommy makes me bento box lunches on Fridays, this week it was pretty neat (see pictures)

Lots of playtime this week, both at school and at home. I met Jake at a party on Saturday and today I saw Trey at the playground, it's so much fun to see friends when you don't expect it. I have some sores in my mouth and on my tongue and they hurt a lot. Mommy has now been giving me chamomile tea and a concoction of herbs and water. It doesn't taste great, but I was okay with it. When I go to play on the playground I wear my R2D2 watch and mommy tells me what time to come home. At first it didn't work, but now it's great and I always get home on time.

Tooth number 2 is out too so now my new teeth finally have some room to grow. Mommy was gone all week so I was very nice to daddy. Well, I went to school all week, not a whole lot of time not to be nice. I really like Bakyugan; it's a Japanese toy. It's a ball that unfolds into a monster when you put it on a certain card. I don't quite understand how to play, but it's fun to have. I didn't have any, but I showed my parents I have really good (Dutch trading skills). 2 weeks ago we were at Ikea and I was telling mommy and daddy about Bakugan (ofcourse they had no clue what it was) when I found one in the parking lot. I traded that one for 3 Bakugan cards in the Ikea playplace and later that day I traded 2 of those cards for 2 Bakugans. So the end result was that I had 2 Bakugans and 1 trading card, pretty smart eh ?

I got a desk today. I've been telling my teacher that I need homework too, but she hasn't given me any yet. At least I can sit there and read books or do some drawing, it's very cool. I've been playing with Michael, Alec and Sasha this weekend. It's fun to have so many kids in the neighborhood to play with. Mommy says that when our house is ready again they can come play here as well. We did play in the backyard, with all the swords and waterguns, that is always fun.

I'm pretty good at reading stuff nowadays. I just don't understand why people don't read aloud ? I love my teacher ms. Roopali and if she's not there like on Monday I miss her, but when she's back I sometimes argue with her too. We have a lot of girls in the class and only 3 boys. I don't really mind, but sometimes the girl games get a little boring and then I need to go off shooting something.

I went to the dentist, everything was okay, she was happy with my new teeth and I even got toybucks for not sucking my thumb anymore !! Together with the money from the toothfairy I bought myself some playmobil, pretty cool. When I wake up in the morning that's what I do, I go and play with playmobil or Lego, nobody will hear a peep from me then. Yesterday I had a party, we drove scooters and did games and then saw a movie. Mommy came to get me and then we had to walk home which made me hungry again.

school or not.On Tuesday I went to the theater with mommy, we saw an awesome
band with real good drummers. I "airdrummed"
with them like a lot of
other kids there too. I know now for sure that I want to play drums even though
one of the players told me I should also learn another instrument, just to be on
the safe side. Today I went to a rollerskate party. At first it was kind of
wobbly, but I really got the hang of it at the end. Mommy did infuse me today,
so I wouldn't get into too much trouble.

I lost my first tooth ! It was on the bottom and the new one is already there. There is another one loose too. I put it in a special pillow and the toothfairy brought me money,isn't that amazing ? I am at school now for 5 days, that is pretty long, but after summer that's what I will have to do anyway. I love playing outside with the boys from the neighborhood, we play all kinds of games and I usually do not want to come in.

We're back from a very long trip to the netherlands. I liked it, but I was glad to be home again too with my own toys, bed and friends. We did so much in the netherlands, celebrated Sinterklaas with my 2 nieces, went to the winterefteling with the whole family, visited Mads in Denmark and ofcourse I got lots of presents and candy for christmas. I went to church (I've been talking about that ever since I was 2), and set the table in the morning. I saw snow twice and really wanted to go skating, but I guess that was not an option. I was sad to leave everybody, we had such a great time. I told daddy I want to live over there.

We had Thanksgiving at school arleady, I was a pilgrim boy and my best girlfriend (I have several) was a pilgrim girl. Mommy came to have lunch with us and Yannick came too. Grandpa and grandma from canada are here, so we have a lot of fun. Yesterday we went to a picknick and I won a prize ! It was the dvd from Kungfu Panda and I watched it too. Today I went playing with my friends again in the park. They did eat almost all my candy though, I was very sad about that (sharing is hard :)

My ear hurt a lot on Thursday so I had to go to the doctor. I got medicine and hope that it will improve, but yesterday it was bad again and my other ear hurt. We went to Denver this week for hemophilia. It's always cool because they have lots of stuff and this time they had Wii's everywhere ! I played baseball and bowling and Mario kart and really liked it. They also had rockband and that was the best if I could play drums. The best was the kids program where we went to the museum and I saw dinosaurs. I saw Kyle and Scott and big Julian again, they need factor too, just like me. We had snow one day and daddy and I threw a snowball.

I played in the park with my friends a lot this weekend, we did a waterfight, played football, soccer and today we had swordfights. Mommy just gets a little tired of calling me to come back hiome, because I don't hear her when I'm playing, at least that's what I told her. We saw my favorite movie yesterday, Madagascar. This was in Imax so the screen was huge, and it was a lot of fun. At first daddy pretended he forgot his wallet and that's why we have to drive across the cinema to go home again, but then mommy told me we were going to see a movie, they tricked me ! Today we went to another park and I played with Yannick and we ate sandwiches. I even managed to go over the top on the climbing wall after a lot of coaxing from mommy.

Is there a cooler holiday than Halloween ? I don't think so, you can dress up, do silly and get candy too !! We had halloween at school with games and prizes and then went trick or treating with mommy at night. It was a lot of fun and I saw where some of the kids I play with in the park live. We are rehearsing for the winter showcase with theater class, but I won't be there since I will be in Europe for a whole month ! BUt I still sing and decided that the song is called "Roelof, the red nosed reindeer" (caus Roelof is my middle name). Today I played in the park again with Michael and somebody else. We found a monitor somewhere and dragged that to his place with a wagon. We always find something cool to do.

My mommy has been a little lazy lately, so she didn't update for a month !! Well, we're still here, my room is almost done and we've bought some very cool stuff to make it a knight's room now. I even got a dragon today. We went to San Diego for vacation, that was great. I could live there and play on the beach every single day. We also went to the zoo and to Legoland and Seaworld, that was great too. We went on a boat and everywhere I found friends to play with, no problem there. Mommy went far away and we stayed home with daddy. She brought me back a book with weird signs (Arabic) and these people start on the wrong end ! This week was kind of normal; I went to school and carved a pumpkin for Halloween. But my uncle Robert was here with Rosalind and I love to play with them. Then my ankle started hurting so I got some extra factor. Yesterday we did my most favorite thing in the world; go to the Renaissance festival. I dressed up as a knight and we saw Tartanic 3 times. The fireworks were great too. Today we went to Russell, I had a great time with Predrag and in the pool. Russ showed me how to breathe with a mask and a tank, that was just awesome.

One of my favorite songs is : " school's out for summer", but in this case school was out for Ike. I liked it even though I didn't get as many playdates as I wanted. I went playing in the park a lot, played with Sasha, my russian friend and Lorelai and one morning mommy brought me to gym for 4 hours of fun, that was just great. On Saturday Alexandra came to babysit and we played on my computer together. I was looking forward to going to Ikea, but their playplace was closed, no power ! No meatballs either, guess we'll have to wait till next time. School is open again so today I went back and enjoyed my time with 7 (1) girls and 1 other boy in my class.

Things just get more interesting every week. A bad storm came in and now our house is in bad shape !! I cannot sleep in my room, because there is a big hole in the ceiling so I share Yannick's room, which is kind of fun. Mommy and daddy also had to move to the guestroom and they use my bathroom now. It was scary with the wind and the rain and even more scary when daddy hit his head in the attic and there was blood everywhere but other than that it's been good...we had company every day, even my friend Laura came yesterday and I am helping as best as I can with cleaning up and not listening :) I don't get why we always have to clean up ??

I'm getting used to my new classmates, although one of them is a little weird and tells all kinds of stories. Luckily I have a new girlfriend too' Samantha. She already liked me, but was in my old class and now we are reunited. She will be a princess for halloween so I'm going as a knight. Mommy bought me a new sword for the occasion. My parents play squash on Sunday and I'm trying it too. It's a lot of fun, and today I managed to hit the ball twice. The raquet is a little big for me, I think I need something smaller.

Well, it finally happened. My class is almost completely new, most kids left for a different school and I have a lot of new kids. I don't get along with all of them, but I love my new teacher. I invented a new game; it's called "rockstar" and I play it with my friends at school. You throw a rock in the air and then see who's rock got the furthest, cool huh ? I went to a new thing; theater class. We learn how to "pretend" and how to sing and dance and I like it a lot ! Mommy still makes me read at home (as if I don't do enough during school) but I have a very good memory and can sometimes remember books from way back, hi, hi. Yannick is most of the time my biggest friend. We cuddle and play and dance together, but he sometimes bites and hits me, and I have to be the big brother and do nothing ! Last Sunday we went to the theater district open house. There was music everywhere and I got to try out some instruments again.

If I can't play with other kids the day is basically a big disappointment for me but my parents don't get that. Well, at least we went to the museum and we saw cool dinosaurs and a movie about the weather. And the best; Mc Donalds ! Today we went swimming and daddy throws me in the pool while I make summersaults. Only one more week before most of my class moves on. We also have a new teacher, Ms. Roopali and she is very sweet.

Summer is almost over; at least at school and all my friends are either moving to another school or going back to their old school....I guess I will find some new friends again. At least I saw some of them this weekend; we played at Scramblers on Friday with Ramsey, Nadia and Lorelai and today Lorelai came to play again. We also went for brunch with kelly and I went to the mall with daddy and Yannick. We saw some kids ice skating and that looked like a lot of fun. I got in trouble because I blew water with my straw during our trip to Cici's pizza, I had to write lines for that, but hey, I guess you need to pay for doing something cool :)

I don't know why all my friends had to leave ! Now, there is hardly anybody to play with on my Friday off ! I did have lunch with daddy and Predrag this Friday and that was fun. Mommy came to see me at gymnastics and I showed her all my tricks. She thought it was an option to do this after summer, but they are very serious about it and you have to start practicing the olympic events including the bars and the pummelhorse and she didn't think that was good for me. Maybe I will do something else like theater or music.

I'm going to school 4 days a week. Usually I protest on Monday, but I like it. Especially since all my girlfriends are at school too. Brooke makes drawings for me and tells me she wants to marry me all the time. She also told me she will belly dance for me (????). On Friday I played with my new friend Sasha. she speaks Russian, and I already can understand yes and no, but nothing else. We played in the pool since it is still very hot. Yesterday we went to a hemophilia thing and at first I was very angry I could not play, but then I could go outside and play games with Kyle and Scott who also need factor and that was fun. Today we played at Scramblers for Ramsey's birthday so you would think I had enough playing, but I was still angry with mom and dad.

Opa and oma left. They really had to because oma is sick and she was in the hospital for a long time. I visited her every day and then I would lay in the bed with her and watch tv, that was so nice. I went back to school, and we had a snake man visiting. Next week we are going to the zoo. We went swimming today and Friday I could stay up late to play at the playground with new friend Sasha.

Every thing was great this week; we stayed home and played and read books, Thursday we went to Hanna's house and we played till very late and yesterday my friends came and we tried out our new playset in the yard. We had bbq and fireworks afterwards. But today my oma had to go to the hospital. We visited her there and I feel really bad that she is not home, I've been giving daddy a really hard time. I hope she is better soon.

Oma and opa are here so I am very happy. And the next 2 weeks I will stay with them as a kind of vacation from school. Opa has been reading to me at bedtime and oma cooks all the food I like, Jello and sausages ! (not together). We did not go to the big pool this weekend so we put the pool up outside. That way I can also keep track of the progress on the playset in our backyard. I tried out the slide today, and man, does it go fast ! It also has a good roof and the swings are coming this week so I'm really excited about that. My girlfriend Brooke is at school again; she makes drawings for me. Usually they have a lot of hearts on them and she als made one of our wedding; she in a beautiful dress and I as a stickman, what's up with that ?

I am a little concerned about death. I keep asking whether everybody has to die and when I will die. Mommy tells me that I need to take good care of my body so I can grow old, but I intend not to die, ever ! I just love to go to the pool and go down the big slide. I can do it all by myself now and swim to the side. I can also swim across the pool, which mommy thought was awesome. My opa and oma are coming tomorrow and I am so excited !

I love music so much and when I hear a song I can sing along pretty quick. It's just that the words are a little hard so I make up my own. Even if mommy tells me it should be different I still sing my own. This week I went to school on Mondays as well. In summer we will have field trips on Monday so I can get used to the 4 day week which I will have to do after summer anyway. Not that I like it, I'd rather be home with Daddy ! I also went to gymnastics on Wednesday and that was so much fun. We had some caterpillars and they turned into butterflies, so we released them today. Mommy bought a gardengnome and he is reading a book and at night the light goes on. She told me he needs the light for reading, but when I just went to check on it I did not hear him read ??

It is very hot here already so it was got we go to go to a birthday party today where they had this really big waterslide and I spent the whole afternoon in there with my friends. The big bedroom is finally done too so I can play rockband with daddy again. He lets me listen to Iron Maiden in the car and I really like it !

I graduated this week ! I had a real cap and gown (green !) and we sang songs and mommy, daddy and Yannick came to listen. Afterwards we had cupcakes and punch and we got a giftbag and a picture of my class. So it was fun and I get to do it again next year. Summer is here, so we started swimming again. I went down the waterslides too, at least 100 times ! Yannick and I play a lot together lately and it is real fun. Except when he wants to play drums on my drumkit....

Why is everybody leaving except for us ? Today I said goodbye to my friend Toby. He came over and we played in our backyard and had dinner and then he had to go. I bought him a really cool present though; a knight on a horse, i want that one too ! I also went to a festival today; they had sheep and dogs (not very interesting), dancing girls (mmm, little bit more interesting) and pipers, drummers and a rocband (the best !). I was very angry when we had to go home. Yesterday we went to see Barbara and Rachel and a lot of bunnies. I want one too, but mommy says I would have to take care of it, I don't think so.

We've had such great weeks ! My cousins Norah and Feline were here and it was so good to have more kids to play with, even though they are girls :) We had some fights, especially deciding who would sit with whom in the car, but other than that we got along pretty good. We went to South Padre Island and built sand castles and I learned how to boogie-board. They also had a swimming pool. We went to the children's museum and in the lighthouse. Last week we went to the museum together and then I had to school and Norah and Feline got to go somewhere else. Friday we went shopping (bleh) and then we had a princess party with poffertjes ! We also did hibachi for dinner and played at old McDonalds farm yesterday. Then I had Anders birthday party where we had pizza again ! Today we are going to have pictures taken with all the kids that are leaving. I'm not too happy about this, I want to live in the Netherlands too, even though mommy says I would still have to go to school there.

I'm so excited because Norah and Feline are here. We have so much fun playing and dancing and joking around, I wish they could stay forever ! Yesterday we took them to Tim's party so they also met Xanne and other kids and today we went shopping and I showed them where the band plays. Mommy did face paintings again, it looked real nice and then we dressed up as knight and princesses ! Tomorrow we are leaving on vacation. We sleep all in my room (well, except Yannick; he is too small) and we are doing pretty good.

Wow, all my 3 parties have come and gone. It was all great, got lots of presents and I loved the cake mommy made. We played knight and princess at my party that was very nice too and mommy gave me 3 face paintings. Yesterday we visited Jarik and Kirjan and we played in the pool and in their treehouse, very cool ! Only a week till my nieces are here. My bed was turned upside down, so now I sleep "upstairs", and I really like that.

One more day and I'm 5 !! I have 3 parties though and today was the first one; Barbara and Rachel came and I got the coolest pirate stuff. Rachel played with me and that was the best. Tomorrow is my REAL birthday and I'll be home with daddy. We are eating croissants in the morning and steak with fries and salad at night. For dessert we'll have popsicles ! Today we had an icecream cake, that was good too. I am really looking forward to my party next week.

Do you see my age thingy above ? It's almost here, my birthday ! Every day I ask mommy and daddy how many more nights I have to sleep. I wrote the list of kids for the party and mommy got this knight stuff for it, very cool ! Friday Maria came for babysitting and she stayed because mommy and daddy went to the movies without me, not fair. I've been reading and doing math with mommy. She thinks that I'm not doing enough in school I guess.

I always have some much fun when people (and especially kids) are here to visit, but it's always way too short. Thomas is back home again, so I'll just play with Yannick, even though he bites ! Yesterday I had my first private swimming lesson with Kaitlyn. She is pretty tough and tells me all kinds of things and I get so tired. Afterwards we went to Samantha's birthday, that was fun. Sammy is my girlfriend, even though she is only 4. I am reading another book from school and started making grocery lists for myself. Mommy was impressed that I only wanted healthy stuff (milk, potatoes, broccoli and cheese :) I apply English phonics to Dutch words and that get some interesting results.

we have visitors, Thomas is here and I love to have other kids to play with, especially when they are younger. We had an egg hunt at school last week and today we also had eggs in our garden. It was great to look for them and the surprises inside them. I am done with swimming classes for now. Ms Elizabeth is not coming back, but I have a few more private lessons with Kaitlyn next week. Hopefully then I will be done and can go swimming all by myself this summer. ms Pat at school told mommy that Samantha is in love with me ! She also invited me to her birthday party and she is only turning 4. I like her too, but I'm not sure about the whole marrying thing yet.

Daddy was gone again this week, this time in Ohio. So I was with Yannick and mommy and it was fun. Mommy let's me fall asleep in her bed when dad is gone, but she forgot so I had to remind her. On Thursday my knee hurt, but it was okay the next day, the factor works wonders ! Today we went biking, 6.5 miles (10 km) and I did it all. I was tired at the end though, but not too tired to play some more on the playground :)

Well, the garage is done and it looks beautiful ! We have spare tires and other engine stuff and the cars can get a turbo start too. Now we just have to keep it away from my little brother ! We went to the museum with my class again, we saw paintings and heard stories, it was fun. It was on my day off but I told mommy I didn't want to miss it. Today we went playing in this big playground with a climbing wall and cool slides.

Me and my daddy have a great new hobby together; building technical Lego ! We did an offshore platform (mommy brought it) and now we are working on a garage with cars, awesome ! On saturday I saw a play about a shoemaker and some elves. There was also a very mean girl in the play but mommy told me she just pretended to be mean. I would like to pretend to, I told mommy that I can remember things very well (just not what she wants) and I repeated a whole piece of a story cd. Mommy was impressed.

I love it when kids come to visit or I go visit them. On Friday I first saw Toby in the park, then all my friends from the babygroup for the rest of the day. Yesterday 2 older boys came to play and I tried to keep up with them. I got homework from school. Not for punishment, but because I have to get used to it, but I was done really fast. Today we went to the zoo and it's so much fun to watch all the animals. We saw animals from the movie Madagascar: fossa and lemur, that was very interesting.

Mmmm, I didn't know that you can use writing as punishment too ! I had to do lines because I poked 2 friends with a pencil. But I told mommy, it was only because I had asked them something 50 times already and they would not answer me (mommy's note, during worktime, they are not supposed to talk...). I washed the cars yesterday and had a great time. Ofcourse I got all wet, but so did daddy. Today we went to the pyramids and they had a huge snake and all kinds of fish. I did not want to leave.

I started Kindergarten this week and I'm not even 5 yet ! But I can read and write and do some math and all my friends are there, so they decided it was about time. And I must say I really like school again now. I read books all by myself at school (at least, that's what I tell mommy) and I have my own folder with work in it. Friday was my favorite day because I could play with my friends. Today we went to a park and saw all kinds of plants and flowers. We also walked a really long time and then got to a great playground. They had a climbing wall and an awesome slide.

I am becoming a very good swimmer. On Saturday I swam the breadth of the pool, deep water, without any help. It's hard though, trying to think of everything; legs, arms, breathing, but I'm getting there. We had a playdate twice this week, with the same friend. I brought my costume yesterday so she was a princess and I was Superman ofcourse. Today we went to the museum; I really like that, especially the dinosaurs and the Geovator, we had to ride it twice !

I'm better. Must have been some fluke virus again. I went to school 3 days this week, quite an accomplishment after vacation. We went to the photographer on Friday and I really like that. Mommy thinks I should take acting classes. We also went biking. I went on my own bike and tried to keep up with mommy, but her wheels are WAY bigger, not fair. Then I sat in the cart with Yannick, but I prefer to do my own pedalling. Mildred had a birthday today so I made a really nice drawing (and wrote her name on it !) and we went to have brunch. I ate a burger and fries, good stuff.

Phew, it's been a hectic time, but we're back home and now I'm sick (again). I was good on vacation in Canada though, which was a good thing since I went skiing and had a great time with my grandparents and uncle. I am already counting down the days till my birthday (only 3 more months !) and have started on a giftlist. The only drawback about turning 5 is that I will have to go to school more, not quite sure how that is going to work out. Yannick and I are really playing with eachother now, well, he mostly imitates me and laughs when i make silly faces, but that is fun too !

We are almost going to Canada ! I am telling everybody that I will see Santa there too. Santa came to school this week and gave me a candy cane, and he was at the fitness club again (another candy cane). It's quite confusing with all these Santas and how does St. Nicholas fit in ? Today I tried my skisuit and big coat and boats on, they are nice and warm. Maybe I should have kept them on because all day I was kind of shivery and not feeling well.

Today was Yannick's birthday, he got all these cool presents and I wanted to play with them, but wasn't allowed :( The good part was that all my friends were here and we played all afternoon, upstairs in the gameroom and outside. We also saw St. Nicholas yesterday and he gave me candy and last night one of his helpers came and knocked on our door and left a whole basket full of gifts for everyone !! This is my favorite time of year, especially since I get all this candy. Grandpa and grandma are leaving tomorrow, I've been asking if they can stay longer, but they have to go back to see my nieces. I will miss them a lot, my granddad reads to me every night and grandma plays with me.

Well, I'm better again, but I still stayed home on Wednesday with Yannick. Grandpa has been reading a very exciting book about a mouse detective. It's a little scary but it;s all pretend ! I've been doing a lot of biking this week and I helped grandpa with home improvement projects. Today we went for brunch at the place with the piano player and then we went shopping for way too long ! But I liked the store with all the animals. I started cooking from my ABS recipes. We already made Ants in my applesauce, and yesterday we did Blueberry Buckle. I'm quite the chef already.

So much to tell ! I went to Florida to Disneyworld and met all the princesses; Cinderella, Ariel, Yasmin, Belle, they were all gorgeous ! We had lunch with Cinderella and I met the others during dinner in Epcot. I went on a "big" rollercoaster for the first time together with Kyle and our daddies and we did rides in the dark. Opa and oma came to Florida too and now they are at home with us !! I was sick most of the week and didn't feel very well, but I was better yesterday and went to a party and to the Renaissance festival. I played games and listened to lots of music.

I don't think my parents get it, they tell me I cannot get up until it's 8.00 ! But it's so much fun to go to their bed and jump and play hide and seek. They even bought me an alarmclock now with big numbers so I can check, but this morning I forgot about the whole clock and went into their room before 8. We got the Jungle Book dvd yesterday and I watched it all. I really like it, especially the girl at the end. I asked my parents what her name is, but they don't know, how is that possible ? I had a party this week for Conor and we went to Beyond Bounce and I played with Lorelai and some other kids.

Something happened this week and I hurt my lip. I kept bleeding until I got some yucky medicine, but it did help. I got a new bike today ! It's blue and has really cool things like a brake and extra wheels. I took it for a ride today and it went really well. I raced my daddy and guess who won ? I started making our vacation list with mommy, I have to remind her of everything like that I want to bring toys and snacks and candy with me, she didn't put that on her list yet.

I must say that this reading is quite interesting. Now I can read a lot and sometimes I don't understand or mommy doesn't want to tell ! I am reading 3 books now (just like mommy I like concurrent reading ! )' Green eggs and ham, Dick and Jane and "can I have a cookie please". They're all good, but the last one is quite hard. We again did lots of swimming this weekend and I had fun at the camping with Kelly and Francois, where we went kayaking. I also got to play with Lorelai and Xanne yesterday.

I love to play with my friends so I ask my mom every day whether we are going on a playdate. I can't on schooldays, but the long weekend is usually fun. This weekend I saw Toby and Xanne and Lorelai, then Laura and Jack. Laura wants to marry me, I guess it's a little too early for that says mommy. Today my ankle hurt, my parents didn't believe when I said it happened when I slipped in the bathroom, but it was better after getting factor and ice. We went swimming yesterday and today.

Lots of new things since I am such a big boy now. I sit in a boosterseat in the car now, and one of them has lights so I can read when it's dark outside, very cool. Today I went down the waterslide in the pool for the first (and second and third and fourth)time, that was awesome. It's not a small thing, because mommy and daddy are not allowed to catch me and it's very deep so I have to swim to the side, but I did a great job. I'm sometimes having a hard time sharing my toys with Yannick, but it was all mine before he came !

Daddy is back ! We picked him up at the airport and he brought me some cool gifts; a stamp with my own name and a monkey on top (I was born in the year of the monkey) and a car with a remote control ! That is totally cool, but I don't quite get it yet, so it gets stuck now and then. Today we went to the aquarium and saw sharks and tigers and a huge snake. I even touched some fish. Then I went in the ferris wheel (too high !) and the caroussel.

I miss my daddy a lot and I tell everybody that he is in a different country, but not everybody ius interested. We had a "party" on friday and a lot of my friends were there; Toby, Lorelai, Xanne and Connor. It was great especially since Xanne and Lorelai stayed long ! We went swimming yesterday, nice to cool off and Yannick likes it if I splash with him. Today I played with my imaginary friends: Cody, Brody, Kelly and Lody (mom got confused, I wonder why). I call them on the phone and then they come over and we play "ridder" (knight).

Summer is over at school so we had a presentation of all the art we did on Wednesday. Mommy and daddy came to check it out and I got stamps and stickers for every room I visited. Daddy left for China. We've been looking at our big wallmap to see where that is. I know that they have panda's there, but I get confused with all the continents and countries. We had a party today for Holly. I made her a card and wrapped her present, that was a lot of work.

This week I had my last fieldtrip for this summer; we went to the Oil Ranch and I milked a cow ! That was very interesting. We also played and sat on the haywagon. We went to the pool a lot this week and I did a lot of swimming I get pretty tired trying to move my arms and legs at the same time. We've been reading every night, well, I have been reading, mom and dad just sit there and repeat what I say, that's easy. It's going very well. Today I was a great helper for mommy, I cleaned up the toys and my tent and put on my pj's myself when mommy asked me. I can be a real big boy !

I just love summer. As far as I'm concerned we could go swimming every day, either at Lifetime or in the backyard with the small pool. We finally made our zoo trip this week and mommy came too, it was fun, but very hot so we did not stay too long. We saw elephants including a baby, giraffes and lions and all kinds of monkeys. I sat in the bus next to Anuj. Next week we have another fieldtrip. Ms Mag wanted mommy to come but she needs to work :(

I am in the "comparing" phase, I want to know what's better, faster, bigger, higher etc. It drives mummy a little loopy sometimes, but at least I learn the numbers, because she figured I can help her look for the speed limit on the signs and then tell her whether we're going faster (never) or slower (always) than the other cars. I love playing games; especially the Zingo game that mommy got for her birthday from Predrag and also the ladybug game he got me. I'm still nog very happy when I lose, but it's getting better.

I had a very unlucky weekend; on Saturday a shopping cart fell on me (because I was climbing on it) and it landed on my ear, so there is a big bruise now. On Sunday I was on the swing and fell off ! Mommy and daddy had a big scare there. They tell me to be careful, and I really try. We were supposed to go to the zoo with school this week, and mommy was coming too, but it rained so hard that it was cancelled. We actually were in the bus already and then we had to turn around. So I guess we'll go some other time.

It was mommy's birthday. I was kind of sad because it was not my birthday, but I did get a present anyway ! We went for brunch at a hotel and there was a guy playing the piano, I really enjoyed talking to him. I ate 2 waffles with berries and some fruit and then I was stuffed. At school this week the theme was Mexico, so we had a Mariachi band and we had a pinata. I took up wearing gel in my hair again since everybody says it looks so cool. You can see for yourself in the pictures.

I only went to school 2 days this week; it was 4th of July so daddy and I got fireworks and I helped him to light it, that is fun. I can swim on my own and sometimes I can also breathe (we learn crawl first) and I still love being out in the pool, especially if my friends are there too. Today I made a puzzle on my own, 48 pieces and it was done in no time. We went to Russell and Ali yesterday and I saw horses (I rode one too), kittens, chickens, dogs, cats, a baby possum and a rabbit.Russell took me to the fire station and I got to try on his gear and sat in the big fire truck, that was so cool. He also let me use the waterhose, that was hard.

I don't want to sleep anymore during the day, it's just no fun. But my parents tell me that if I don't sleep I cannot go anywhere, not fair ! At school we had a camel ! Yes, a real one and I got to ride it together with Yannick and his teacher, it was fun, but smelly. Yesterday was a great day; first we went swimming for lessons and then outside where we met Predrag and I got a game. Then we went to a store where i got to play with my plane and car and at night we went for dinner in a nice restaurant. It was very funny, I had a card and when I put it with the green side up some guy would come and ask if I wanted any meat ! I ate a lot of steak and had a good time. Today we are going to my friend Laura's house, it's Canada day so I'm wearing the shirt that uncle Robert and Rosalind bought me in Toronto. It's getting a little small though.

No accidents this week so that was good. We have a lot of new kids in my class so it's been fun, I'm almost the oldest now and I have to set a good example ! But I'm still not old enough, I found out there are kids out there that are 5 and 6 and even 7, so unfair ! Had another swimming lesson yesterday, and it goes better every time. I was allowed to swim in the big pool a little bit after the lesson but mommy and daddy didn't swim. Today Magnus and Anders came to play and we always have a lot of fun. Mommy built a picknick table with benches for us to sit on in the backyard so we had something to eat and drink there.

Another schooltrip this week, this time we went with a boat ! I told mommy and daddy that I saw whales and dolphins, but they didn't believe me ! Daddy is doing some demolition so ofcourse I want to help. Well, that didn't work out yesterday, he dropped a chisel and it fell on my head. So now I have a hole and there was blood everywhere. It wasn't too bad after it was cleaned up, but still. I had my swimming lesson again on saturday. There are a lot of kids in this class so i have to wait a long time, but maybe I will be able to swim better quicker.

Our school is in summer session so we get to do all kind of fun things (not too much learning). This week we took a trip to the butterfly garden and I saw bugs and butterflies. We went there with the bus, that is very special. Today we went to the children's museum; I dressed up as a knight, played in the excavation area and decorated a butterfly. Then we also saw a big dinosaur (well, just the bones to be honest). We also went swimming again, next week I will have lessons.

Daddy is back and ofcourse bought me some nice presents. I also got a knight's costume because I don't suck my thumb anumore and I don't have to wear diapers at night anymore. My mommy doesn't even have to get me up at 10 to let me pee, pretty good eh ? It is nice weather so I want to "swim" every day. We went to the big pool on Friday and yesterday I played in the pool in the backyard with Xanne. We also had waterballoons, those are just great.

My daddy is still away and I miss him so bad ! Especially when mommy won't give me what I want (candy) or tells me I cannot play in the playground because I did not listen...We had graduation Tuesday, we sang songs and then we all get a certificate. I will be in Ms. Mag's class for another year, but I cannot wait to go to Kindergarten. I spelled "flop" this week and read a little story. I just have trouble remembering what I read. My bike is fixed too, so we went biking yesterday in between the rain and thunder.

Now, what's this ? We just got back from vacation and then daddy leaves again ??? It's not fair, I want to go with him. Back at school we are preparing for our "graduation" next week. We are learning songs and dances, but I was very angry at my teacher because she said I might not be able to be in the dance since I missed rehearsals for 2 weeks ! So mommy is practicing with me, but I can do it pretty much by myself. Today was my last swimming lesson and I actually swam ! Just breathing is the hard part, since we learn crawl here first. Hopefully I can go on with swimming lessons and I will be able to go down the slide !

We are back from vacation. It was so great; I spent a lot of time with opa and oma and norah and Feline while visiting Germany and then we came back and I saw Mads (he walks !) and I got to visit my friend Hanneke, I was waiting for that. Then I also saw Mirko and all my second cousins at aunt Olga. When we came back I was so tired ! At school we are preparing for our graduation. Because I was gone for 2 weeks my teacher doesn't think I can participate with the dance, so mommy is going to practice with me, because I got really upset about that. Oh, and mommy and daddy did all my infusions during vacation !

We are going to the Netherlands next week so I helped mommy put my clothes and toys aside that I want to bring. I have my own roll-on suitcase that is already filled with toys and books and crayons. We're also bringing the dvd player for the plane. I was a little sick this weekend, threw up twice, that was no fun. But I got some extra tv time out of it ! Mommy talked to my teacher and she was really happy that I listen and follow the rules at school. Mommy asked me why I cannot do that at home, but I didn't realize we have rules at home as well !!

I am 4 !! Yesterday was my birthday and it was great. I got a real drumkit and books, a cd, clothes, money, a compass and a magnifying glass, a kid-computer and lots of cards and phone calls. We had cake and hot dogs and they decorated my chair and the living room. Other than my birthday it was kind of a clumsy week; I scraped my knees, bit my tongue, hurt my cheek, fell on my lips and scraped my elbow, all in 1 week, amazing eh ? So I have bandaids everywhere and mommy kept giving me arnica and some other stuff. Hope next week ill be better.

Grandma Herma left again, it's kind of hard that everybody comes and goes, i really don't understand it always.But today was Easter, first we had an easterparty at school where we did an egg hunt and then had snacks; oma, mommy and Yannick came to party with me. Yesterday we painted and colored some eggs and I got to look for them this morning. I like the ones I painted so much that I did not want to eat them, I will keep them for a little while. This week it's just us, and Yannick is coming to school with me. Mommy is going to ask if I can visit him now and then.

My other grandpa and grandma are here, so much fun ! I love it when I have extra people to play with. I liked playing soccer with them and making a tent, just as I did with oma Hanny. I had my first swimming lesson together with Toby. Our teacher is Mr. Matt and he seems real nice. I listened pretty good, but did not like it when mommy told me to come out of the water, she got kind of angry then. This weekend we had my party; it was a Superman, Spongebob, Cars party. We had Superman plates and cups, Spongebob party hats and a Cars cake ! It was a great cake with all cupcakes and there was a big Lightning McQueen on top. I had all my friends there and we played baseball with balloons and ran a lot through the house. Only 2 more weeks before my "real" birthday is here. I got a new game it's called Croquet and I like playing it in and out, so much fun swinging the mallet ! I just dont' like it when I lose.

Only 4 more weeks before my it's my birthday ! I hope that I finally get the present I want; a drumkit ! I kind of made my own, but the drums keep falling down and my sticks are starting to look a little ragged. I want a Superman/Batman/Spiderman party, but mommy says I have to choose. Maybe Spongebob then, I like that too. We had a party yesterday at my friend Toby. We played and rode our bikes and I had snacks with Laura, it was good fun.

I'm getting pretty good at this biking, we went walking and I was on my bike. I have a little trouble getting up the sidewalks, but I'll conquer those as well. We had more visitors; Dorothea and Liliana came over to play, that was fun. I just wonder why they got mad when we locked Liliana in the bedroomcloset ?? I'm being a good boy; when mommy has to nurse or change Yannick I will go and make some puzzles or draw. When I play the drums she is not that happy, how come ? We had another visitor this week; we played soccer and I showed him my racecars and other toys. We also went to the space center again, and it was pretty awesome, especially the plaything, even though kids were throwing balls.

Things are going fast; this week we have been practicing reading 3 letter words. It's hard though, I always want to guess what mommy or daddy have written but they don't think that's right ! I played music this morning, the tune from the Muppet show with me on drums and daddy on guitar, we are quite the duo ! I let daddy come biking with me today as well. We had visitors and they brought me a present; blocks to make a log cabin, that is pretty cool.

Guess what, I can write my own name !! I still have some trouble with the N, but other than that it looks pretty good. We've been practicing at home with writing and reading. I finished my puzzle, it looks awesome. I did the last 20 pieces all by myself. We had a valentine's party at school and we got all kind of goodies there. Today I went to the theater again with daddy to see drummers !! They had a very big drum and it was so loud.

It's almost valentine's so we are making all kinds of things at school for our big party next week. I also made some valentines cards with mommy, that was fun. Today I was reading ! I have been practicing 3 letter words at school and today I read "hit" on my baseball bat. It's not always that easy though, I'm sure there is a trick to it, but I cannot always say the right thing. I am also very busy with my big puzzle that I got from aunt Kelly. It's almost done, and I can find some really hard pieces now and then.

I kind of like this whole arrangement that I only go to school 3 days a week. Gives me lots more time with mommy ! If Yannick sleeps we can play together, like today when we had a picknick outside and we worked on my big puzzle. We went to have pictures made on Friday, that was fun. I really liked the girl that made the photographs, she was cute. We also had a playdate on Friday and I played with Magnus and Anders. Then we went to the park in the afternoon with Toby, so it was all perfect.

I always have a hard time going back to school after the weekend, but once I'm there it's fine. And this week we moved into the new classroom and Ms. Mag assigned me a new sleeping spot as well. We went to Ikea and mommy let me into the play area. I had a lot of fun with Magnus and Anders there. And then we went to see Barbara's parents and that was a lot of fun too ! I played with Joop on the playground and Mildred let me have a stroopwafel and other good stuff ! Daddy was gone for a few days, but we picked him up again on Friday and I was a really big boy and listened to mommy. Today we had Laura's party; we played games and had Tinkerbell birthday cake. I want a Superman cake for my birthday !

I only had to go to school twice this week, because it was so cold that they closed school on Wednesdays and that was fine with me. We are moving to a new class room and we are all helping Ms. Mag our teacher to move stuff, that is fun. On Friday I went to the theater with my daddy. We saw a musical and one of the girls in the play was so cute ! I told my mom she is my sister (?) and I asked her to e-mail so she can come to my house; nothing happened yet ! Yesterday we had a party at jumping Jack, that was fun too, even though I didn't know a lot of people. I got all my PLaymobil out this weekend. We built the castle and the pirateship I got from Linda and Sten, it's so cool. I also use all kind of other Playmobil I got with it.

This week it was just me, Yannick and mommy for most days. I don't like it when mommy cannot play with me because my brother needs food or is crying, why doesn't he just go to sleep ? I tried playing baseball with mommy too, but that did not work out well. She is way better and playing soccer with me. I saw my friends Toby and Magnus and Anders this week a lot. We went to the park, to a jumping place and to the drive in movie ! That was really nice, we saw Charlotte's Web about a pig and a spider and all kind of other animals. We had fries in the car and stayed in the car to watch the whole movie, that was great and there was a playground too.

Our house is so empty ! Grandma and grandpa left again to be with my nieces and mommy had to cry. I told her not to cry, they will be back and that seemed to cheer her up. All the decorations are gone too, I guess the party is really over now. I played baseball with daddy this morning; he pitches and I hit the ball with the bat and you know what; I am really good at it ! I also went to the recycling with daddy because he needed some help.

X-mas is already over. I got a really big load of presents and the unwrapping was the most fun. We had a party at school as well and I sang the loudest of all children. Then Santa came and I told him I wanted "lots of toys", guess he does listen. I help my opa and dad when they are doing home improvement projects in the garage. And sometimes I just play outside with grandma, camping or I make a tent and sleep in it, lots of fun with everybody here.

I saw Santa today ! It's still a little confusing though, there is a guy that comes with a boat and has a horse, but this one comes with a sleigh and reindeer ?? I asked mommy where the reindeer where but she told me they had to stay outside..... I went back to school this week and as I told my parents during dinner; it is so busy at school. We have to prepare for our x-mas gathering next week and learn songs and all that. I hope we will manage.

This is such an exciting time. We did Sinterklaas on wednesday (Zwarte Piet came and knocked on our door, threw candy and gave us a whole bag full of presents !!) and now we are putting up christmas lights. I even have a small tree in my room with lights. There is something weird going on with my brother; he gets to stay downstairs when I have to go to bed, that is not fair ! He also gets lots of "laptime" with mommy. She tried to explain about all the food, but I think she is making it up.

Well, well, I guess people kind of "forgot" to tell me that this new baby makes a lot of noise and asks for a lot of attention ! Oh well, he is kind of cute though. I saw him right after he was born, and he cannot do a thing yet, what's with the playing ? I stayed up really late the day he was born but we did better things first; we picked up opa and oma from the airport and then I saw Sinterklaas !! At first I did not want to meet him, but he was really nice. I drew a picture for him and sang a song and then got "snoepjes" (candy) in return. Then we all went home, had dinner and then went away again to have Yannick. I saw a video about an orca (Free Willy), that was cool ! Grandpa is my special playmate already, we play soccer and swing in the backyard. Yesterday I put my shoe up again and got more candy. They tell me today it's Sinterklaas' birthday, so what does that mean ??

I had some good quality time with mommy and daddy this week, they were home a lot ! Sten and Linda and Mads came again and we prepared dinner in little pans. We went shopping for a stuffed animal for the baby brother and I found the cutest bunny for him. I also got to play at the playground in the mall. I planted flowers with mommy in the front yard and am very proud of that. Barbara and her mom came today and we went out to dinner. To top it all off, my grandparents are coming in 6 days, yeah ! Oh, and my baby brother is still not here.

I feel on Wednesday and had a fat lip. Also one of my front teeth moved a little. Mommy and daddy are hoping there is no lasting damage. On Friday I saw a penguin movie with Laura and Grace. That was fun, even though there were some scary animals. Yesterday I got to see Sinterklaas arrive with his boat in the Netherlands. The good thing was that I got to put up my shoe as well and this morning I got some candy in it ! Today we went to the Renaissance festival again and watched my favorite band Tartanic. I airdrummed along with them and there were people coming by to tell me I was so good. So where is that drumkit ???

Daddy went to talk to Ms Mag this weekend to find out how I was doing in school. I guess it's okay, but I need to play more by myself, what's the fun in that ? We had visitors yesterday and Mads came as well. We watched baby Einstein together and then he slept in my baby brother's room. I sang a song for him and we brushed our teeth together. We did that at Mads' house too on Wednesday because mommy and daddy had baby class. I hope my brother will be as cute as Mads !

This is such a fun time of year. On Tuesday it was Halloween, so I got to wear my Superman costume and have a party at school as well as go trick or treating with daddy (what happened to all that candy mommy ? Then today we went to the Renaissance Festival again with music and knights and Toby got to come with us as well. The baby in mommy's belly is real funny. Today I told him to "wake up" and then he kicked mommy, ha, ha.

Daddy was back and now he left again ! I'm beginning to think it's because of me. But when he was here we had fun, we went to Toby's party and today we went to the theater to see Stomp. I had to dress up (oh well) but it was very good. I did miss the real drums and instruments though, these guys only used weird stuff. My parents tell me that we will go see some real drums soon. We prepared bags for Halloween today and I got one too. I cannot wait to go trick or treating on Tuesday !

It's been a good weekend, despite my daddy being gone with lots of play and games and even a picknick. They had one of those inflatable jumping pillows, that was really fun. I saw Toby again and we went to the park and to his playground. We have a great playground across the street as well where we went today. There were some other kids but they were too old for me. I found mommy's Barbie dolls. It's a lot of fun to undress them but I put new clothes on them again too.

Well, we moved ! We're all in the new house and I have a new room. Sometimes it's fine, sometimes I get scared because it's so dark, will get used to that though. The really good thing is that I have my own playroom. So I go there to paint and read books and play music (Ernie and Bert are my current favorites). I just don't like it when mommy tells me to turn down the volume ! I am in a number phase mommy says; I will tell a story and then go : 90 point 1, or say that I am 40 10. Seems to be hard to understand, I don't get it, makes perfectly sense to me. Daddy left tonight to go to my grandparents and somewhere else. Not fair, I wanted to go with him and cried all the way to the car. Everybody we saw on our way felt very sorry for me.

This week was not great; my ankle started hurting again and I needed a lot of shots. I had different nurses too. They tried, but I prefer ms. Gail. Mommy and Daddy both stayed home for a day, because I could not walk. On Thursday I went back to school again. Now it seems I'm getting more shots all the time, I'm not too sure about that yet. We went to a store and they had all kinds of drumkits ! The guy let me play on all of them and then he showed me how to do it too, really cool. I'm hoping to get a drumkit in th new house.

Our house is a big mess; there are boxes everywhere ! I tried to help packing yesterday, but it's really boring, so I gave up. There is some good in all this; I got a new bed. It's really cool with a kind of tent on top with starts and I can sleep upstairs and downstairs if I want. Now mommy just has to order my new shark-bedsheets and I'm all set. I was not very good in school this week and spent some time on the thinking chair. I try to do better, but why can I not do gymnastics in class, they have a great big rug for it !

For some reason my ankles are a little bit weird. One of them was swollen again, so I got more "prikjes". We have been looking at houses again and I think they found something. We went looking again yesterday, I don't know why, it still looks the same ! We brought home a butterfly cocoon this weekend from school, and the butterfly emerged yesterday, so we set her free. We also have hummingbirds that come and drink at the feeder; they are pretty cool.

It's my grandmothers birthday today, happy birthday oma Hanny ! I went to the dentist this week, she is really cool ! I got toys and a balloon and a new toothbrush, toothpaste and floss. But I was very good too, cause I just lay down and opened my mouth without complaining. Yesterday we went to look for a new house. I have lots of fun climbing the stairs everywhere, other than that, there is not a whole lot of interesting things to see.

Well, it was quite an interesting week. I had to go to the doctor's, but they were happy. Then on Friday Ms. Gail came, but not for me; she is teaching mommy how to do a "prikje". I want to do it too, but they told me I have to wait; not fair ! We went swimming yesterday and today we went to all kind of theaters ! They had instruments and a drummer and a big orchestra ! I got to try out the trombone, the drum, a violin and I could conduct !! I really think there is a career for me in showbusiness.

We just got back from our vacation. It was lots of fun, and I saw my family and other people, but I'm also happy to be back home again, I missed my friends at school and Toby a lot. I learned a new game: "ik zie, ik zie wat jij niet ziet" and I played that with grandma in the car. I got a new drum from Robert and Rosalind and we played a lot of soccer. Unfortunately I had to get 2 shots because my ankle got a bleed, but I got 2 cars for being so good during that ! Then we went in the car and I saw Hanneke again, that was fun too. It took a while before I realized she does not understand me if I speak English, but her mom and dad did, very confusing ! We also visited Francois and his parents, but Kelly was not there. I got my head stuck in a gate (causing some panick) and lost one of my "doekies" in Montreal in a sewage roster...nothing else exciting :) I am telling everybody I'm having a baby-brother and they all think that is wonderful, so I hope that's true !

Mommy left us, again ! She went off with her friends to do some stuff with pictures I guess that's fun. And I had fun with dad too. Not at first, because my ear hurt and I had to go to the doctor, now I got drops and that helps. But then we went swimming and to my friend Laura. We also got paint and I got popcorn and a hot dog, good deal or what ? Mommy came home again today. Only 4 more days before we go on our trip to Canada, I am so excited !

Another school trip; this time to the Museum of Fine arts. I couldn't tell mommy exactly what we did there, but it was fun. It is so hot outside, so they don't want me to go outside, but today we bought a new kiddie pool and that's up, I love splashing ! We are going to Canada in 2 weeks, but I keep on asking whether we can go earlier. I got a new backpack/roll-on case for flying and I already put a bag of cheetos aside for the flight, that's going to be fun !

It has its advantages if you're in the Montessori class: school trips ! We went berry picking this week and that was great. We got blueberries and blackberries and I took them home and ate them with my yoghurt. On Friday I went somewhere with mommy and they had a trampoline in the backyard, wow ! We played a long time until the big boys started banging heads (I was already gone by that time). Yesterday we went swimming again and it was mommy's birthday. Still have to get a piece of b-day cake !!

Things are a little confusing here. They tell me all the time that we are looking for a new house and that I will get a new bed and a new room then (with whales on the wall), but not a whole lot is happening ! So today I asked them whether maybe this was the new house already, but that wasn't the case either ! I now tell mommy and daddy that I will miss them when they leave and I think they like that. Mommy does not appreciate my love for lollipops though, she hardly ever gives me one.

We have "vrij" because mommy and daddy are home on a Monday, great ! I'm happy anyway because Toby is back from Germany, even though we had a small fight within 5 minutes of seeing eachother again ! I went swimming with daddy again and then we had a party with lots of kids. Yesterday I helped daddy to put the recycling away. When mommy told me to clean up the mess; I told her that daddy made the mess (it was true!) and he should clean it up.

I think I need to talk to my mommy, she forgot to update last week ! And we had so much exciting adventures; we went to Hannah's party and I jumped on these big inflatable things, we went swimming with Dorothea and Liliana and then we played orchestra together; and yesterday I went swimming with daddy again in the big pool. And this afternoon we are going to Laura's house to play and swim again, it is all great ! I have been using my own language and ask mommy for the song " yaya zuzu sasa" or something and you know what ? She knows the song too !! It's too bad though they don't understand the rest I'm saying.

We finally went to Seaworld and it was so great ! I saw orca's and otters and seals and sealions and dolphins and much, much more. We had dinner with Shamu, that was special and I also got to ride in a "rollercoaster" with daddy (that was a little scary). The best part of the trip though maybe was the pool at the hotel ! I swam and jumped in the water till mommy and daddy dragged me out. Now I'm a little tired and hope for a quiet week.

Guess what, I'm getting a baby brother ! At least that's what mommy tells me. For some reason he is still hiding in her belly, that's beyond me, it's way more fun out here ! I was on my own with daddy this weekend. We went to the beach and I played in the water and the sand, that was awesome. We were going to have dinner with Francois and Kelly but I fell asleep so we went home right away. My new question is" how was your trip ?" Everybody answers me too, that's the best.

On Monday was the graduation at school. Unfortunately daddy did not come and I was really sad about that. But mommy and Kelly were there and could hear the songs we practiced and afterwards we had cupcakes and lemonade. Before we left to go camping on Friday we let the butterflies go that I raised. We had 5 in all and they flew away in our yard. Hope we will see them again. Then we finally went camping and it was so much fun ! We swam and I went kayaking with daddy and Francois. We slept in the trailer and had a really bad thunderstorm. I just love being outdoors and campfires and eating outside. It was all so exciting I did not feel like sleeping at all. I did hurt my leg; no idea how that worked so we came home and miss Gail gave me a "prikje" this morning. Nowadays I also get to put a sticker on a calendar when I get an infusion.

Mama, I'm plassing ! That's one example of my Dunglish language.....My parents keep telling me to speak Dutch and I try, i really do, but it's so hard. We had lots of fun again, went to a festival with rides where I won a prize, then we went to Old McDonalds farm again and today we played at a house with 2 big boys ! Then I rolled down the stairs and hit my head so Ms Gail had to come, but it's all better now. We have graduation this week and I have been practicing my songs every day, mommy and daddy know them really wel now too !

It's mother's day and we spoiled mommy a lot. First we had a tea at school and I gave her my art and some herbs from our school garden. Today daddy and I made breakfast and we gave her a card with a drawing and a beautiful necklace. After that we drove for a long time to go berry picking. We picked strawberries and blueberries, although I ate more of the blueberries than I picked. Then we went for lunch at a restaurant where I charmed a bunch of girls and then I was really ready to go to bed, even though I declared right before that " I am not tired !"

Just a regular week, going to school and then playing with Toby on Friday. Daddy is fixing my sandbox so I can play with that as well again. And I think the weather is fine enough to have the pool in the yard, but mommy says it's too early yet. My new word is "booty", I'm not allowed to say it, but I like to shake it :)

More parties, but there were no people I knew, even though they were friendly enough. First they had animals and face painting and a band and later there was just a bunch of grownups talking and drinking but I had a good time talking to Dan and Trevor. Dan told me I could come back next year too ! Mommy went to talk to my teacher Ms. Mag. Guess they are pretty happy about me, I just need to puzzle more to get some more concentration. Ts, why puzzle if you can play basketball ??

Will I always get 2 or 3 parties when I have a birthday ? Yesterday we had the "kids" birthday at a farm. I fed the rabbits and the cow and saw a peacock and other animals. We also went riding on a train and went down a really long slide. It was so much fun and all my friends were there. Today we have more people coming, but no kids, (except for Mads, but he is too small to play with), we'll see what that is all about. At school we are preparing for graduation ceremony. We are learning a song about the continents but my parents are not supposed to know. I guess I shouldn't sing it all the time at home then ?

Well, I finally turned three this week ! Not a whole lot of partying going on yet, Toby came, but mommy had to stay on the couch, she was sick so Sandra took me to play with the other guys. Daddy had to work, so that really wasn't a lot of fun. We're having a party next week though at Old McDonalds farm !

Just to enforce my statement from last week, see now my mom left for a week and visited my grandparents and Norah and Feline without me !! I spent the week with Daddy and we had a good time. We went to the children's festival and I was on a ferris wheel and a rollercoaster with Toby. I'm getting used to my new class and new teacher and friends and really like it now. Today we went to a park and saw turtles and ducks and buffaloes, those guys are big !

I don't think we ever have normal weeks here. This week I had a problem with my leg. Nobody saw anything, not my parents, not the nurse, but it hurt. So I got some factor, also good for my bruises. Other than that it was good even though I don't like it that I have other food at school than the rest of the kids. We have a deal now that I can have some of Ms. Pattie's potatoes if I eat the rest first, okay then. We went to a great park today and had a picknick with Toby and Sandra. Then we took a train ride and played with water and on slides and swings and then we had icecream so it was kind of a good day.

Well, I moved to the next class. Now I am back with friend Laura and lots of other kids. I get to play on the big playground and that is really fun. Ofcourse I had a lot of bruises, but that's just till I get used to everything. Mommy and Daddy don't know exactly what I have learned already, Ms. Mag will tell them if they care to ask I guess. I went to the zoo yesterday with a lot of daddy;s and kids. Some of the mommies were doing something with scrap and my mommy was just at home doing nothing I think, what a life !

This was my last week in the toddler room. Next week I will graduate to Ms. Mag's room. She is a little nervouse so i need to wear my helmet, but that is okay, I quite like my helmet. To make sure I won't be too hot with the helmet, mommy took me to the hairdresser's to get a crewcut... ha, ha. It's nice and cool though and according to Mommy I have a nice head so it looks fine. We went to see the little baby from Linda and Sten; his name is Mads. When I held him he pooped in his diaper, not very welcoming ! But I was very gently and stroked his head, but I did have to tell him that it was "my mommy" that was holding him.

My first week at school was not very succesful, I fell and hit my head, then got my finger caught in the door and then tripped over my shoe and skinned my leg. Luckily all minor stuff that did not require factor, but still, I was full of bandaids ! Mommy and daddy don't understand why I cry when I don't get what I want...it's really not that hard; I want to run around, touch everything, and play all the time, have they never been young ? I got a cool new Dora book which is also a puppet theater with sounds. I am spelling everything I see, there is only one little problem, I don't recognize the lower case, because I did not learn those yet !

Back home again ! Norway was fun, lots of snow and ofcourse daddy was there ! We threw snowballs and I made snowangels, then mommy and daddy decided they wanted to work out and went cross-country skiing ! Not for me, was in a sled pulled by daddy, heh, heh ! When he fell I got really scared, but he got better towards the end. We also visited the hemophilia clinic because I got a bleed the Friday before we left. That went all very well and I even got to choose a present, very nice ! They have Dora there too, but she speaks a weird language besides English. There were also a lot of Dutch people and I recognized them immediately and a Dutch pancake house. I like that place.

Mommy listened to me and we went to the theater again ! Today we went to see Dora the Explorer and that was really cool. We sat upfront on a balcony so we could see everything. And then we went home with Magnus and Anders and played for a long time and had dinner together. My nose was doing weird things and blood came out of it yesterday. So mommy gives me some "honey" (Amicar, very nasty tasting liquid medicine says mom), and then it is a lot better. Only 6 more nights and we're going to daddy !!

These 2 weeks were both fun and not. The not fun part was because I had 2 bleeds in my left ankle, so Miss Gail was here a lot ! The first one happened when I stepped out of the bath, the second one when I played soccer. So now mommy just keeps telling me: no running, no jumping ! no fun, is what i say ! Last weekend we saw the butterflies again and we went into this elevator that went into the ground in a deep hole, or so it seemed. This week we went to Kelly and Francois to go camping, that was great ! I threw stones in the lake and we went walking and I rode my bike. We also ate marshmallows by the fire, that's my kind of food. I went to the dentist this week for my filling, it was all good, no problem. The dentist is really nice and I got balloons and a lollipop and toys and they said I was the best boy they ever had. Ofcourse !

I found a way to stash away stuff, in my pockets !! Mommy found a rock, some sticky fruit, a toy and 2 embroidery floss cards I had taken from her before she did laundry. Maybe I should find a better place to hide those. Mommy also decided that she needed some time to herself (mmm) and went to a wedding yesterday. So I stayed home with the new babysitter: Tomas. He is very nice and lets me go to bed late :) but I did sleep when mommy came home. I was hoping he would come again tonight, but no such luck.

I think everybody has a birthday in January. I went to 2 parties this weekend; one at Gymboree for Rowan and one for Christopher at pump it up where they had huge inflatable slides and such, that was fun, but I got really tired. Mommy and daddy took out one side of my bed so now I'm in a "big" bed. I fell out twice, but not lately, so maybe the pillows can be moved from the floor. I can undress myself completely, including zippers, buttons and laces are still a little tricky though.

I had a great time these last 2 weeks ! Daddy came home, we did christmas twice, once in Houston and then after sitting in an airplane for a long time at my opa and oma’s house. I played with my nieces, we went walking a lot. We went to an orchestra to listen, we made snowballs, ate lots of fries, saw great fireworks from the balcony and visited lots of other people that all had toys and presents for me. Now we’re back, daddy is back in Norway ( I DON’T LIKE THAT) and I had to go to the dentist again. Mommy found me a new one though and she is really nice. They had toys and a tv and I got a lollipop (sugar free) for being such a good helper. I have to go back but I think I will be okay.

Why does mommy always want me to play where there are no other people ? Today we had lots of people and kids over and mommy moved all my toys to the dining room ! It was absolutely no fun to be there because all the big people were in the back, that's where the party is ! So we just ran around with Predrag en stayed mostly with everybody else. We had a christmas party at school this week and I saw Santa. It's weird, he looks different every time I see him. I was not scared of him; Jeremy and Christopher were. I also sang a solo at the performance. Can you believe mommy forgot the camera ? My first public appearance and she missed it.

Well, this week was very interesting. We went to a tooth doctor on Wednesday, she was really nice and gave me a balloon and stickers and I sat very still. But mommy says we have to go back because one of my teeth is bad. Oh well, as long as I get another balloon ! Today we went to the theater. They had people playing and singing and dancing, on drums too, that was the best. All the people sang, including my mommy, that was fun. I have a new favorite program: the muppet show. It's not on television anymore, but mommy has dvd's. I love miss Piggy !

This is a great time of year. I get to put my shoe up and get presents the next morning and we visited Sinterklaas and I got candy, all very good. We bought a christmastree today too and mommy and I decorated it together, or rather I gave instructions and had mommy do the decorating, ha, ha. I also play a lot with Toby, we were at Old Town Spring yesterday and in the park this morning. Unfortunately I hurt my hand hitting a ball. I told mommy right away and Ms. Gail had to come. But that is okay, I help here to disinfect my arm and dry it and then I help putting the bandaid on. I can almost do it myself !

Daddy is home, he got in late so I didn't see him till the next morning but it's all good. We had thanksgiving dinner together, no turkey though, and mommy did a lot of shopping (on her own !) Today we went to the park and played soccer. Mommy and daddy get very angry because I sometimes use a dirty word: shit. I learned it from Jeramy at school but my parents don't want me to say it and even threaten me with time out or no tv if I do say it.... I thought they were just happy I talked, didn't know words can be good or bad !

We can't get enough of it, we went to the Renaissance festival again. I like it, there are lots of drums there and I dance and sing and everybody thinks I'm cute ! Today I even was applauded by the band, because I did my best to outdance them :) I also like the knights and the horses. I have some new words that drive my mommy crazy : " but why ??" I think it's funny, so I say it a lot, but I don't think she quite appreciates it after the 4th time. Daddy is coming home ! Only for a few days though, but we practiced going to the airport today and picked up Lynda and Joe, I was happy to have them back too.

Daddy is still gone, we talk on the phone now and
then and I'm still not sure whether I should be angry with him or not. This week
I saw a car, it was red so I told my mommy " look it is red like blood !", guess
she thought it was funny, but it was true ! Last night I didn't feel very well;
I was hot and did not want to sleep. So I was allowed to get into mommy's bed
and cuddle up there. We even talked to daddy real late ! Hope I'll be better
soon, we are going to play with Toby, Anders and Magnus today.

Daddy left, I don't know what to think of it. Mommy
tells me he is in Norway, doing what ? (I tell everybody he is on vacation,
mommy says he is working....) We did bring him to the airport all the way to the
little gates and then mommy and I watched the planes leave and land; that was
very cool. And if it's not traumatic enough that daddy left, mommy said she had
to sing 2 times this week and somebody came in to watch me; neighbor Nance and
Kelly and Francois. What is going on here ?

It's been so busy this week, I had to go to school,
on Friday I saw Sandra and Toby to play, then Lynda for lunch and Linda to shop
(isn't it amazing that I can really tell them apart ?). Yesterday I went
to music lesson with daddy and then we all dressed up for Kelly's halloween
party. I was a great pirate, as was daddy. And at the party we actually met more
pirates. My parents bought toys for me, a big playmobil castle, but I don't
quite get it. It has really small trumpets that I want to play, but they don't
make a sound. And I can sit in the castle, but it's hard to play with things.
Secretely I think they bought this for themselves, not for me !

Yes, everybody is back from vacation, including
Toby, so we're almost back to normal. Grandma left again, but mommy took me to
Madeleine's house so I could play with Magnus, Anders and Toby, nice consolation
price. My newest words are "never mind", mommy says it all the time and then
nobody laughs ! I am practicing my Aar's for Halloween, because I am going to be
dressed up as a pirate ! They took pictures at school on Friday, I didn't think
it was very funny and the little monkey the photographer had was just annoying
so I look serious in every picture. That'll teach them

Major breakthrough, I pooped on the potty, twice
!!! Isn't that good ? At school too, so miss Angela is happy as well. Accidents
still happen, but it's getting less. Grandma Herma is here so I have more people
to play with, always good ! We went to this great thing yesterday, there was
music everywhere, I played Maraccas with somebody that played violin and me an
daddy went riding on an elephant !!! Hard to top that.

We're back ! We went in an airplane (twice) on
vacation and I met my nieces Norah and Feline and uncle and aunt. We drove in a
big bus and I slept in one bed with Norah. I miss her, ask about her a lot, but
according to my parents I need to wait a few months and go with the airplane
again ? I also keep asking about the moon; where does it go, I only see it when
it's dark ? I was glad to go back to school and see all my friends again. The
whole potty deal is a little hard, I think I forgot how to do it because I had
diapers on during the vacation. Mommy is quite frustrated about it...

We still have not been to the movies (see last
week), some excuse about nothing suitable, what do I care ? I showed my parents
that you don't have to be older to charm the ladies; in the pool on Sunday I
managed to keep 3 older girls (they were around 7 at least !) occupied and they
seemed quite enchanted by me. We went to the zoo today, it was very busy, but I
saw some really cool animals. Mommy is packing my stuff already for vacation I
guess, we are going to Boston !!!

In case people don't know this; my favorite
birthday song is "happy birthday". If you call me I will probably sing it for
you (right uncle Antoine and oma Herma ?). I decided that I only like icecream
when I can lick it. Otherwise I am perfectly happy with the cone only. Major
accomplishment today; I pooped in the potty ! Not before I had left something in
my room (I escaped from daddy, heh, heh), but hey everything counts right ? I
guess my parents have to keep their promise now, we go to the movies !!

It is so hot here ! Everything I do makes me
sweaty, walking in the park, playing outside, only the pool is a good place to
be. But we went to the park on Friday with Magnus and Anders and Toby. We played
hide and seek and stop and go (mommy invented this game) and it was real fun.
Then we got icecream, that was the best part. Uncle Joe came for dinner Friday,
he is on his own since Lynda is in Canada, I miss her already and told mommy we
got to Boston with her (which is not true). I have a new game where I pretend a
lot, I eat pretend food and share that too. We went to the pool yesterday and
then had sushi. All the people in the restaurant know me, I wonder how come
?

To make up for last week we spent Monday and
Tuesday in Corpus. We slept in a hotel and I got to sleep in a big bed. I'm not
used to that yet, so I fell out in the middle of the night, but I don't think I
got hurt. I spent a few hours with Thomais and Maria and Claudia, they let me
watch tv all morning :) because I would start to scream if they turned it off !
When mommy and daddy came back we went to the beach and played in the water and
the sand. Friday mommy worked in the morning, I was sent to school and then we
went swimming with Toby. That was fun alhough he should not bite me again.
Yesterday we met so many people; first Linda and Sten (we had juice and cake)
and then Kelly and Francois. I have so many friends !!

Daddy had to work so much that he brought me to
school on Monday. I like school, but I like my time with daddy too. We did
science all summer, we made snow and blew bubbles and saw an alligator grow, on
Thursday I showed some of those things to mommy, she was very impressed. Hannah
bit me, left a big red mark on my arm, but it's better now. Toby is back from
vacation so I was really happy. Unfortunately he was very tired, so we didn't
play too much. I know all my colors now, but it seems there are more than the
ones I know. Mommy told me about burgundy and turqoise this morning, she must be
mistaken, Ms. Angela never said anything about those.

Yey, visitors. Olga and Kees came, but I just
called them oma and opa, way easier. We took a trainride and went to a space
thing where I could jump in a big pool filled with balls ! The bump on my head
is not gone yet, so miss Gail and miss Diane came by. Mommy actually also
brought me to this mean tunnel, where I couldn't move and they took pictures of
my head (scanner). My parents are trying to keep me from saying my god, but
instead say my goodness, or gosh, but I don't understand why ?

Something is up ! Mommy and Daddy have been
cleaning and vacuuming and they tell me I have to sleep in their room for a few
nights, why ? Guess it has something to do with visitors coming in. I got a big
bump on my forehead because I tripped over the phonecord and then hit my head on
the highchair, not good. Miss Gail came and it went better afterwards but it
looks nasty. I started counting on my fingers, although mommy says that I always
end up one too many, how does she know ?

I practiced it almost every day for the last few
weeks and now I got to sing it, Happy Birthday Mama ! Although, I declared it
was my birthday and got more presents than mommy, so I think we should just let
me have 2 birthdays per year. I am practicing my stage skills, singing with a
"microphone" (stick, recorder, or anything basically) and closing my eyes while
singing. Mommy thinks it looks real professional already.

It was almost a normal week; I went to school 3
days and we went for lunch with Lynda on Friday. Yesterday we went swimming and
it was extra fun because it rained, but that didn't matter. Today I got to play
with Magnus and Anders which is always a lot of fun while mommy went to see some

We went away this weekend to Austin, even me having
a knee bleed could not keep us home. We stayed in a hotel and I could go to the
other side of the hall to visit Kelly and Francois, very convenient. But first
Miss Gail and Miss Diane came for 2 days to give me factor, I was okay with that
though. We did again a lot of swimming, in very cold water and in a big lake
with waves. I had my floaties on and I can swim on my own now ! Daddy and
Francois took me swimming too with a little boat. Yesterday I saw fireworks
which was very exciting, but I was a little scared at first of the loud bangs. I
was quite exhausted after this weekend, so I slept in this morning, daddy gave
me my breakfast in the car !

I love water and swimming, we go a lot, Monday,
Friday and today again ! I guess I'm officially potty trained too (during the
day), almost no accidents anymore so that's pretty good. Maybe the winegums that
I sometimes get help too :) I spent most of my time this week reading books
(mommy doesn't understand what I say when I read aloud, her problem), singing
songs and playing with my cars. We also play soccer, I guess they think there is
some money in training me early.

I really, really want a boat ! I tell mommy and
daddy constantly, but I still have not seen anything. Although I have a sandboat
in the garden, that is really cool. To kind of keep me satisfied my parents took
me to Kemah, lots of boats there and we even got to ride on one for a very very
short time. We also went on a small train and on the carrousel (not sure about
that yet). My grandparents sent me a shirt from their local soccerteam, see here
it is !

Lots of fun again this week, I went to school for 4
days, but that was okay, I really like Ms. Angela. On Friday we did lots of
shopping, but my friend Joe was there so I didn't mind too much. Yesterday we
went swimming in the big pool and then I got to play with a lot of kids in a
small pool at Evan's house. Today it was very exciting, we went to see a huge tv
!! It was very loud and sometimes a little scary, but it was fun. I got popcorn
and we sat in the dark.

Well, my teacher, Ms. Angela is so impressed with
my potty skills that I get to wear real underwear to school next week, that's
very cool, because mommy let me choose them and I have underwear with Thomas and
Bob the builder ! At home I'm still to busy to go though, although Friday I went
3 times succesfully ! Linda and Sten came to play while mommy and daddy dressed
up and left. And yesterday I saw Lynda and Joe (can you see too many Li(y)nda's
???) Yesterday we went to the pool, I love that, I jump in the water, but don't
like it when I cannot reach the bottom.

that too much. I am not too fond of bugs (beestjes) either, mommy says they

Mommy forgot to update last week because we were
home so late ! But I had some exciting experiences these last few weeks. I saw
aunt Kelly graduate, that was pretty boring except that I could yell her name
all the time, but they had people playing instruments there, that was really
good. Then we went to Anders, because he had a birthday, but I played mostly
with Magnus and on the slide. This week I picked up a new word : "yep", it
sounds cool, but I think my parents don't like it that much. I peed on the potty
twice this week at school, but didn't feel like it anymore at home, it's just
easier with a diaper. I played in my whale pool all day yesterday and this
morning I was in it again with Toby. Then we went shopping, it's good mommy
brought aunt Kelly along, because it was pretty boring otherwise. Then Barbara
and Rachel came and Barbara's parents and I really liked them all. I watched
Pingu on Rachel's lap, and gave everybody a kiss goodnight.

Well, my daddy has been spending a lot of time with
me lately because mommy just gets up and leaves ! We're having a lot of fun
though. Yesterday was fun too, we went to Old McDonalds farm , yep the one from
the song. Didn't see him, but I saw goats and a cow and chickens and deer. I
rode on a pony and we took a trainride, I also went on a really high slide all
by myself, pretty cool eh ? Toby came too to play with me in the pool and we had
a lot of fun together.

I had to go back to school this week, which is not
too bad, but I don;t like to play outside in the morning anymore. I got the
concept of 2 languages. I will say the word in both English and Dutch if I can
think about it like vliegtuig/airplane. My teachers don't always understand me,
is that dumb or what ? My tongue is bleeding again so I get stuff (amicar). I
did not like it before, but now I just suck it down, makes life a lot
easier.

I got a bike for my birthday, with real wheels, a
bell and a "bakkie" to carry stuff around with, very cool ! I also got more
presents another day, how does that work ? We went for a very long ride and then
stopped to stay at a real little house. I got to sleep in mommy and daddy's
bedroom and we played a lot ! There were big balls and there was water so I
could throw stones, that makes a great splash. I also went kayaking with my
daddy, that was also fun. Grandpa and grandma left again, its very quiet now.
But today we went to a big market, I saw Barbara and Rachel and a lot of people.
There was music and dogs.

I found out that my grandma will give me a snoepie
(candy) when I sit on the potty ! I used it once too, other times I'm just there
for the candy ! Nurse Gail came again for my shots because I could not lift my
left arm. I did not go to school but stayed home with grandpa and grandma all
week !! We washed the car, went to the park, cooked and had a lot of fun. Today
was the most fun, my friends came (Toby, Laura and Lorelai) and we played in the
pool and inside. I also got bags with stuff in it. Don't quite understand what
for, but I'll take it. The wrapping paper is way cool.

Whenever we have visitors we do a lot of things !
This week I helped my grandparents in the garden (they are doing major
renovation), and we went somewhere with a lot of water, aand I do mean a lot !
Daddy took me in the boat, so now I tell mommy "I want a boat !" I can speak
sentences of about 4 to 5 words and they make sense too. I learn to count in
Spanish now too. Oh yeah and Ms. Gail came again, I told her where to stick me
and did not cry at all.

It's a good thing I like eggs a lot, because wow,
there are sure a lot around. Chocolate ones and real ones and I like the real
ones best ! But only the white, I'll give mommy the yellow stuff. We had easter
egg hunt at school where we had to find them and then yesterday mommy hid them
again. But I got most of them, Toby is a little slow there (okay he is much
younger, but still). Now my grandma and grandpa are here again, that is so much
fun.

I'm learning shapes, for now I know what a circle
is and I say octagon, but I have to work on that a little more. I like coloring
now, esepcially on books and on mommy's lists (she has just too many). My arm is
swollen and I have a big bruise, no idea how I got that one. So Ms. Gail comes
again, I get to pick out a bandaid, we have really cool ones with Micky Mouse
and Winnie the Pooh !

Can't say I was too happy being back here, I had to
go to school again, which is fine, but I hardly see my parents now. I was barely
back at school when stuff starting coming out of my nose again.... Mommy is real
happy because I cooperate when she brushes my teeth, she does that while daddy
and I count, not very easy with a toothbrush in your mouth, I can tell you that.
Today we went to a park, which was okay, but the real exciting thing was that we
saw a lot of airplanes under way, I can make a real good "vrooom" sound when I
see them.

We just got back from another trip, this time with
my Canadian grandparents and uncle Robert and Rosalind. They had the white stuff
again and it was pretty cold. They also bought me this inflatable things that we
could slide on, that was okay the first time, but then I didn't like it anymore.
I ate a lot of food (must have been the cold) and fell on my lip ! I got a new
puzzle from grandma and grandpa and an alphabet thing and finger puppets from
Robert and Rosalind. Pretty good deal eh ? I slept in mommy and daddy's room, so
they heard that I grind my teeth at night ! I can count from 1 to 10 in both
Dutch and English, but sometimes I get a little confused and need help.

Made my parents really happy (it's amazing how easy
that is) because I said my name correctly instead of Nunu, or Lulu. They are not
too happy with my latest expression "stop it", I think it's pretty good and it
usually does the trick too ! They have been putting me in these huge thick
clothes, guess it has something to do with the vacation, but it makes me look
like a little Michelin man, hardly fashionable !

our own separate room as well, even though Ms Angela and Asma leave the door
open. I will find out what that is all about soon. We went to the circus this
week and I loved it, all these people in wonderful costumes and music and
dancing, I clapped and screamed. And when an act was taking too long I told them
so (go, bye), but they did not listen that well.

According to my parents I am getting better all the
time with this infusion stuff. I needed some this weekend because I landed hard
after jumping (not my fault !) on Friday I had to cry a lot, but today it went
really good and I only had to cry for a few seconds and then clapped for myself.
My friend Laura came by today (yes the same from last week) to play and sing
songs, we had a great time.

I decided that I like Laura at school a lot, so I
always give her a kiss and a hug when I leave. And ofcourse I hug and kiss my
mommy and daddy all the time too, they really seem to like it. We play with the
trains every day and also my puzzles are really interesting now. I won't let
mommy make video's anymore because I want to see the screen too, why should she
have all the fun ?

People have names ! So I call mommy and daddy by
their real name now and then and myself "Lulu". I sing a lot of songs and do it
also without music. Yesterday Nancy and Karl came by to look after me, because
my parents had something better to do I guess. It didn't matter to me, I just
slept and woke them up real early this morning, that'll teach them to stay out
late without me. Today we went to a museum which was real cool because
everything was on my height and they had balls and chickens and a cow that you
could milk.

I found out that if you combine those words it can
be a lot more effective. This afternoon I told my dad to get my crackers (he
didn't do it, but it was worth a try) and ofcourse now I can see what I want
"more" of, like this afternoon when my mom obliged me by giving "more wi" (more
kiwi). Very handy, this will be only the beginning ! I had a lot of
playtime this weekend, at a party and today with Anders and Magnus. We did the
obstacle course and ofcourse played with my soccerball !

I can name my first utensil "lepel" (spoon) and I
usually like to use 2 of them to eat my yoghurt. I am also working on colours
but man, that's so confusing. I just repeat what I heard but then they tell me
it's not right. Why can't everything just be "ood" (rood/red) ? Mommy bought
training pants for me, they're nice and comfy, but I think she expects me to do
something different when I wear them. I have not quite figured out what that
might be though.

Well, I guess my mom figured it got too crowded on
my first page, so here is my second one ! This house seems like a hotel
sometimes, now my aunt Jet came and left again. She brought me all kinds of
great stuff, 2 bells for my bike and placemats I can color and even a little
digital camera ! I'm into 2 things now, just to make sure my parents understand
I'm really a boy ; cars and kicking a ball around. Got to do both plenty these
last few days. To develop some of my softer side I still show interest in music
and singing, now I "sing" along with all the songs I know and there are quite a
few. My aunt Jet and mommy sang a lot for me, but I do have special requests
!
